From experience, I have learned that if when someone (that I have never worked with before) reaches out to me by e-mail for a quote on a project, it's time to pick up the phone and have a chat.....that's why I always will schedule a 15 minute consultation prior to the onset of a new job. Good idea, right? What professions are there that would benefit from picking up a phone call before pricing out a job? Would it give you a better picture of the client, and then allow you to better target your pricing? What do you think?
